Dr. Stratakis Dimitrios is Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering of the Hellenic Mediterranean University, with the subject 'Telecommunications with emphasis on electromagnetic field measurements'.
 
He received his BSc in Physics in 1987, his diploma degree in Electrical Engineering and his M.Sc. in Electronic Physics and Radioelectrology in 1992, and his Ph.D. degree in 2011 from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece.
 
He is the scientific coordinator of Non-Ionizing Radiation Laboratory of the Technological Educational Institute of Crete, dealing with research and measurements of Non-Ionizing Electromagnetic fields at extremely low frequencies and radiofrequencies.
 
His research interests include radiowave propagation, wireless communications systems, non-ionizing electromagnetic radiation measurements, and electromagnetic compatibility.
