Procedure for acceptance
Candidates are invited to fill the application form accompanied by two referee names and their affiliations.

Visas and Residence
- Students EU/EEA Nationals
You will not require a visa for studies to enter Greece if you possess a valid passport from an EU Member State, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway or Switzerland. However, please check your passport is valid and if necessary, renew it as early as possible, and before leaving for Greece.
- Students non EU/EEA Nationals
If your country of origin is not an EU Member, you may need a visa:
Visas for Foreigners traveling to Greece Countries requiring or not requiring a VisaIf your passport is from a country outside the EU/EEA, then you will need to apply for a Student Visa (national visa type D) and after your admission to Greece for a Residence Permit.

Quick Procedure for issuing residence permits of accepted postgraduate students
Candidates that are accepted as postgraduate students (or have successfully applied) in the MScAgro Postgraduate Program, may also apply for a residence permit from the Hellenic Republic Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
According to the Article 37 of Greek Law 4251/2014, Tertiary Educational Institutions of Greece inform Consulates about the foreign students accepted in their postgraduate programs, in order to accelerate the procedures for issuing residence permits.
