Dr Vassliki Avgeli is a Research Fellow in the Departments of Business Administration and Agriculture, TEI of Crete. She holds a PhD in Development and Promotion of Alternative Forms of Tourism from Brunel University, UK, an MSc in International Marketing and Foreign Languages from Abertay University, Dundee, UK, and a BSc in Tourism from Abertay University, Dundee, UK.
She has worked at New Bucks University, UK and in the Departments of Business Administration and Agriculture, TEI of Crete, as a Research Fellow, teaching Marketing and Tourism courses. Her research interests focus on tourist development and marketing alternative forms of tourism. She has authored research papers and participated in many international scientific conferences. She has also organised international conferences on marketing and tourism.
