The third cycle of studies includes the preparation of a doctoral dissertation. Holders of a Master’s Degree, who also meet the specific requirements set out in the relevant Doctoral Studies Regulation are admitted as doctoral candidates, following a decision of the Assembly of the Department. In special cases, as provided for in the Doctoral Studies Regulation of the Department, PhD candidates who do not hold a Master’s Degree are accepted as PhD candidates following a reasoned decision of the Assembly.
