The Equal Access Unit of the Hellenic Mediterranean University (HMU) invites first-year students with disabilities to express their interest in participating in the free transportation program to and from the University premises.
Who is the program for?
The program has been specifically designed for students with:
- Mobility difficulties or mobility impairments
- Visual impairments
Aim of the initiative
The primary aim of the initiative is to facilitate safe and barrier-free access to teaching and learning facilities, thereby supporting students’ active and equal participation in academic life.
Eligibility requirements
To participate in the program, applicants must:
- Be registered students of the Hellenic Mediterranean University
- Hold a valid disability certification issued by the Disability Certification Center (KEPA) covering one of the above categories (mobility impairment or visual impairment).
Application Submission & Evaluation
Students wishing to participate in the program must complete the participation form no later than 27 September 2026.

Following the application deadline, the Equal Access Unit will evaluate all submitted applications.
The final selection of participants will be based on the number of available places, as well as the degree of transportation difficulty experienced by each applicant.
