Postgraduate studies
The Postgraduate Programs of the Hellenic Mediterranean University (HMU) aim to promote knowledge, support research and meet the educational, research and development needs of the country, to provide knowledge, skills and competences to public and private sector executives in fields related to the scientific fields of undergraduate study programs, to provide essential qualifications for the successful conduct of the third cycle of studies and meet conditions that guarantee a high level of studies and lead to the award of a Postgraduate Diploma (MSc).
- The HMU organizes and operates thirteen (13) Postgraduate Study Programs, two (2) of which are Inter-Institutional.

- Sound and Music Technologies
- Inter-Institutional Postgraduate Program “Nanotechnology for Energy Applications” (Departments of Electrical & Computer Engineering, and Electronic Engineering of the HMU, the Departments of Chemistry, and Materials Science and Engineering of the University of Crete, and the Institute of Electronic Structure and Laser of the Foundation for Research and Technology).
- Inter-institutional Postgraduate Program “Accounting & Auditing” (Department of Accounting & Finance of the HMU and Department of Accounting and Finance of the University of Macedonia).
- The HMU collaborates in four (4) Inter-Institutional Master’s Programs:
- Environmental Sciences and Engineering (Department of Chemistry of the University of Crete in collaboration with the Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering and the Department of Agriculture of the HMU).
- Community Work and Social Economy (Department of Sociology of the University of Crete in collaboration with the Department of Social Work of the HMU).
- Hotel Business Management (Department of Tourism Management of the University of West Attica in collaboration with the Department of Business Administration and Tourism of the HMU).
- Data Analytics and Financial Technology (Department of Accounting and Finance of the Department of Informatics of Neapolis University Pafos in collaboration with the Departments of Management Science and Technology, Accounting and Finance of the HMU).
- The HMU collaborates in the joint Erasmus Mundus Programme EMINENT (European Master on Embedded Intelligence Nanosystems Engineering).
