The Hellenic Mediterranean University (HMU) opens its doors to students: Open Days 2026 across Crete.
The Career & Liaison Office of the Hellenic Mediterranean University (HMU) invites students, educators, and the general public to the “Open Days 2026”, from Monday, March 16, 2026, to Friday, March 20, 2026. With the central theme of experiencing academic life in practice, the events will take place in person at the University campuses of Heraklion, Chania, Rethymno, and Lasithi.
Visitors will have the unique opportunity to:
- receive detailed information about Undergraduate Study Programs,
- take guided tours of the facilities and laboratories of the Schools and Departments, and
- participate in experiential educational activities (demonstrations, experiments, and group activities) designed by the University’s academic, research, and laboratory staff.
Within the framework of Open Days 2026, schools may schedule educational visits for students, primarily from the 3rd grade and also from the 2nd grade of General and Vocational Upper Secondary Schools (Lyceums).
Expressions of interest must be submitted by the school units from Monday, February 9, 2026, until Friday, February 27, 2026, by completing the following form:

Under the auspices of the Career & Liaison Office and with the active participation of HMU students, short guided tours will also be offered in selected areas of the main HMU campus in Heraklion (e.g. Library, Sports Center, etc.).
