🎯 Program Objective
Upon completion of the program, participants will be able to:

  1. explain the basic principles of microeconomics and how markets function
  2. describe demand, supply, and the factors that affect market equilibrium
  3. analyze consumer behavior and the concept of elasticity
  4. identify the relationships among production, cost, and profit
  5. distinguish between short-run and long-run costs
  6. explain how firms operate under different market structures (perfect competition, monopoly, monopolistic competition, oligopoly)
  7. apply the profit-maximization rule to different market forms
  8. assess how changes in prices, income, or technology affect the firm and the market
  9. connect economic principles with real business decisions
  10. use basic digital tools (e.g. Excel) for simple cost, profit, and market analysis calculations

👥 Who it is for
The program “Business Economics for Beginners” is intended for individuals who wish to acquire basic knowledge and skills in microeconomic analysis and in understanding how markets function, regardless of their academic or professional background. Economic thinking and the analysis of business decisions are fundamental tools across all sectors, such as business administration, tourism, economics, marketing, education, and technology, making a basic understanding of business economics essential for both professionals and students.
