The Training and Lifelong Learning Center of the Hellenic Mediterranean University (HMU) is offering a new training programme entitled “Investment Appraisal and Feasibility Studies Using Excel.”

🎯 Programme Objective:

The aim of the programme is to provide participants with practical knowledge and skills in the evaluation of investment projects, the preparation of feasibility studies, and the use of financial analysis tools in Excel.

The programme addresses the need of students, graduates, and professionals to assess investment decisions on the basis of quantitative evidence, rather than relying solely on descriptive arguments. Particular emphasis is placed on applications relating to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), service-sector investments, transport, and business planning.

The programme is further supported by comprehensive educational material and a book authored by the Programme’s Scientific Coordinator, covering investment appraisal, financial analysis, and feasibility studies, with applications in sectors of particular relevance to the Hellenic Mediterranean University, such as services, transport, and entrepreneurship.

The programme has a strong practical orientation and leads to a specific deliverable: the preparation of a short feasibility study and a basic financial model in Excel. In this way, it contributes to the mission of the Training and Lifelong Learning Center to provide applied, professionally relevant, and scientifically grounded continuing education.
