🎯 Programme Objective:
The programme aims to provide comprehensive and scientifically grounded theoretical knowledge, together with practical skills for the assessment and application of Relating Theory (Birtchnell, 1993/1996).
It also seeks to develop and/or strengthen participants’ ability to prevent and manage challenging interpersonal situations, foster effective communication, and build safe, supportive, and inclusive relationships with individuals from diverse backgrounds and population groups.
👥 Target Audience:
The programme “Training in Relating Theory: Understanding, Assessment and Management of Interpersonal Relationships” is addressed to professionals working in clinical, counselling, educational, and social settings, to those who wish to integrate Relating Theory into their professional practice, as well as to individuals interested in developing greater self-awareness and self-management skills in the field of interpersonal relationships.
Indicative target groups include:
- Psychologists, psychotherapists, and mental health counsellors
- Social workers and social services professionals
- Healthcare professionals (physicians, nurses, and public health professionals)
- Teachers, special education professionals, and school administrators
- Executives and staff of organisations, institutions, and services working with different population groups
- Professionals seeking to develop skills in understanding and managing relationships in professional contexts
- Individuals interested in developing greater self-awareness in their interpersonal relationships
