An important educational-research program involving students of Polytechnic Schools from five European universities, will be in progress from 29/01/2024 to 02/02/2024 at the premises of the Hellenic Mediterranean University in Heraklion. This is the Blended International Program (BIP) “International Innovation Engineering and Entrepreneurship Network – I2E2”, which aims to develop synergies between students of different universities on issues related to International Innovation, Engineering and Entrepreneurship. A parallel goal is the development of skills (soft skills) that are now necessary in the modern labor market.
The I2E2 Network is an association of Higher Education Institutions with the aim of promoting innovation projects to students with a multicultural context. As they have different cultural backgrounds, international teams are a multicultural team. The cooperating Universities are the following:
• University of Suceava, Suceava – Romania
• ESPRIT, Tunis – Tunisia
During the last two days of the meeting, the annual two-day I2E2 symposium will be held, during which 14 papers will be presented and evaluated, while all articles will be collected and published in the symposium proceedings.
The organizers of the BIP from the HMU side are Dr. Konstantinos Karambidis and Professor George Papadourakis. This school is financed by the institutional program KA131 of HMU for the organization of BIPs and it is managed by the Office of International Relations.
