Hellenic Mediterranean University (HMU) participates in the International Exhibition of Higher Education, EAIE (European Association for International Education, Toulouse) 2024 which takes place in Toulouse, France, fSeptember 17 – 20, 2024. The exhibition, with over 240 sessions and activities, as well as 200 exhibition stands, is the leading event for the internationalization of higher education in Europe, attracting more than 7,000 public and private university institutions from all over the world.
HMU is represented in the framework of the National Initiative “Study in Greece” (https://studyingreece.edu.gr) which promotes Greek higher education at an international level, while Assistant Professor of the Department of Agriculture Ioannis Daliakopoulos participates in the proceedings of the conference .
HMU’s participation in the EAIE2024 exhibition, as well as in the NAFSA 2024 International Exhibition held in New Orleans in the USA last May, confirm the University’s commitment to strengthening international collaborations with leading Universities abroad, through cooperation memoranda, joint research and educational programs, as well as the European University of ATHENS. Among these priorities, the development of student exchange programs for studies and internships, the increase of English-language courses, undergraduate and postgraduate study programs and summer schools occupy an important place. In addition, the attraction of academics and researchers from international Universities and the adoption of innovative practices, such as the use of microcredentials and blockchain for the certification of learning outcomes, is being strengthened. A high priority action for our University is the organization and participation in international collaborations COIL (Collaborative Online International Learning) and BIP (Blended Intensive Programs).
