With great participation and enthusiasm, the student table tennis tournament was held on Wednesday, 13 May, in the foyer of the “Markos Karanastasis” indoor gymnasium. The event brought together 70 participants, who took part in a day full of competitiveness, smiles and memorable moments.
The matches started at 13:00 and were completed at 20:00 with the small final and the grand final. Throughout the tournament, the matches were held in a knockout format, offering excitement and intense moments from the first to the last game. The match pairings were determined by draw, ensuring equal opportunities for all participants. All students who participated received certificates of participation, while the top 15 were awarded medals for their effort and presence in the tournament. The three main winners, in addition to their medals, also received gift vouchers offered by the EADIP store of HMU.
The event was organised by Physical Education teacher Eirini Kyriakoudi and Physical Education teacher Manolis Kamaratos, contributing to the creation of a successful sports activity that brought students together through the spirit of fair play and participation.
