11 members of Hellenic Mediterranean University in the 2% of World’s Top Researchers & Scientists for 2021, according to the annual bibliometric study by Professor John P.A. Ioannidis of Stanford University.
The high research level produced by members and scientists of Hellenic Mediterranean University are confirmed for another academic year by the recent classification of the annual bibliometric study of Stanford University (published the 10th of October 2022).
The list of the leading researchers and scientists from around the world for 2021 is entitled: “September 2022 data–update for Updated science–wide author databases of standardized citation indicators” (https://elsevier.digitalcommonsdata.com/data. ../btchxktzyw/4) and it concerns their ranking in ascending order. The list is announced every year and evaluates the performance of all academics and researchers worldwide.
The ranking of the leading scientists in the study of Professor John P.A. Ioannidis is based on a set of indicators characterizing their published scientific work for 2021 (1st list), as well as their overall work (2nd list) and concerns more than 8.000.000 scientists worldwide. This study is accepted by the entire scientific community and is based on the impact of the published research work, more specifically on the references received by each scientist with at least five (5) publications according to the Scopus database.
Ten (10) Hellenic Mediterranean University members appear in the list of the top 200.409 scientists worldwide for 2021. By ranking, these are:
