In a move that aspires to pioneer the European manufacturing education landscape, a consortium of leading educational institutions – among them the Hellenic Mediterranean University (HMU), innovative SMEs and industrial groups from across Europe have joined forces to launch the “Digital Twin on Smart Manufacturing” project. This initiative was made possible through the Erasmus+ programme.
HMU participates in the project through the following laboratories:
The Laboratory of Intelligent Systems & Computer Architecture with participants Professor Georgios Papadourakis, who is also the scientific manager of the project and the member of the E.D.I.P., Dr. Konstantinos Karambidis.
The Multimedia, Networks & Communications Laboratory with participants Professor Athanasios Malamos and Asst. Professor Spyros Panagiotakis.
The Data Science, Multimedia & Modeling Laboratory with Professor Stylianos Papadakis as a participant.
The Control Systems and Robotics Laboratory with the participation of Asst. Professor Ioannis Fasoulas.
