Τhe Hellenic Society of Horticultural Science (EEEO) and the Department of Agriculture of the School of Agricultural Sciences of the Hellenic Mediterranean University (HMU), invite the members of the academic community of the university, researchers, agronomists, undergraduate and postgraduate students as well as producers and entrepreneurs who are active in the field of Horticulture, to participate in the work of the 31st EEEO Conference. This year’s Conference is entitled: “Adapting horticulture science as a countermeasure to growing environmental, climate and geopolitical challenges” and will be held at the Cultural Conference Center of Heraklion, Crete, from October 29 to November 2, 2023
During the Conference, distinguished scientists will be given the opportunity to present research results, exchange ideas and experiences. The Thematic Sections covered by the conference are: Viticulture, Floriculture, Landscape Architecture and Urban Greenery, Aromatic and Medicinal Plants, Beekeeping, Arboriculture and Horticulture.
The rich and interdisciplinary theme of the Conference, with written and oral presentations covering all sub-sectors of Horticulture and cutting-edge technologies in primary production, will undoubtedly contribute to the diffusion of new knowledge and innovation.
Representatives from companies active in the fields of plant nutrition, plant protection, propagating material, professional and scientific equipment, agricultural consultancy, etc., will be on site, and will provide the opportunity to present and exchange views between the research and the commercial sector, and the promotion of mutual and beneficial collaborations.
