The Hellenic Mediterranean University (HMU) is pleased to announce that the Department of Electronic Engineering, of the recently established School of Engineering, has been included among the undergraduate departments that award an Integrated Master’s degree (Level 7 according to the National and European Qualifications Frameworks).
The decision was signed by the Deputy Minister of Education, Religious Affairs and Sports, Mr. Nikos Papaïoannou, following the positive recommendation of the Supreme Council of the Hellenic Authority for Higher Education (meeting 81/22-07-2025, Government Gazette 4528/B/20-08-2025).
In total, HMU now has four (4) departments that confer Integrated Master’s degrees:
- Department of Agriculture (School of Agricultural Sciences)
- Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (School of Engineering)
- Department of Electronic Engineering (School of Engineering)
- Department of Mechanical Engineering (School of Engineering)
The establishment of the School of Engineering at HMU and the inclusion of the Department of Electronic Engineering among the departments offering a five-year undergraduate program equivalent to a Master’s degree significantly enhance the academic and research role of the University, confirming its upward trajectory in the field of public Higher Education in Greece.
