The Hellenic Mediterranean University (HMU) has signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with the Economic Chamber of Greece, establishing a dynamic framework for collaboration in the fields of education and professional training. The partnership focuses on delivering high-quality training in areas such as economics, accounting, auditing, finance, and management, aiming to strengthen lifelong learning and professional development for the members of the Economic Chamber.
Within this framework, the two institutions will collaborate on the design and implementation of specialized training programs, seminars, workshops, and educational initiatives, leveraging their academic expertise and know-how. At the same time, emphasis is placed on the development of modern teaching methodologies, both through in-person and distance learning formats, as well as on the certification of acquired knowledge and skills.
Particular importance is given to the role of the Centre for Training and Lifelong Learning (KEDIVIM) of HMU, which serves as a key pillar in the development and delivery of educational programs addressed not only to students and graduates but also to the wider community.
The Economic Chamber of Greece, as an institutional advisor to the state on economic matters, strengthens through this collaboration its role in scientific support and professional training of its members, promoting the connection between education and the needs of the modern economy.
This initiative further enhances the link between HMU and the professional and productive ecosystem of Eastern Crete, contributing to local and regional development through the dissemination of contemporary scientific knowledge and practical skills.
