The Laboratory of Accounting and Financial Management (LAFIM) of the Department of Accounting and Finance at the Hellenic Mediterranean University (HMU) is organizing the International Conference FAME 2025, focused on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its applications in Finance, Accounting, Management, and Energy. The conference will take place on September 19–20, 2025, at the Events Amphitheatre of the “Markos Karanastasis” Indoor Sports Center on the Heraklion University Campus.
FAME 2025 aims to bring together academics, researchers, and professionals for the exchange of knowledge, ideas, and best practices. The core focus of the conference is to explore the potential and limitations of Artificial Intelligence, while highlighting the skills needed by the next generation of scientists and professionals. Throughout the conference, scholars, policymakers, and practitioners will participate in thematic sessions addressing current and critical issues.
The conference program features 43 papers and 1 workshop, showcasing the breadth and diversity of contemporary FAME-related research. Sessions will cover areas such as Accounting, Finance, ESG, Tourism, Energy, Artificial Intelligence, and Strategic Risk Management.
