Digital Governance Committee

The Digital Governance Committee is responsible for the continuous monitoring of issues related to the University’s digital governance, the utilization of information and communication technologies, and the simplification of administrative procedures, including those of the Special Account for Research Funds (ELKE). The Committee’s mission is to submit recommendations to the Rector or the competent Vice Rector regarding the University’s strategy in matters of information technology, communications, and digital governance.

More specifically, the Committee’s responsibilities include:

a) Preparing and submitting to the Rector the University’s digital transformation plan, as well as monitoring its implementation.

b) Developing and managing the University’s digital infrastructure.

c) Submitting proposals for simplifying University administrative procedures through digitalization.

d) Designing and implementing programs, actions, seminars, informational events, and other related initiatives, in collaboration with public sector bodies or social organizations, aimed at enhancing the digital skills of the University’s academic and administrative staff.

e) Developing new methods of distance education for the organization and operation of formal study programs where distance learning is permitted, as well as for lifelong learning and continuing education programs offered by the Center for Training and Lifelong Learning (KEDIVIM).

f) Defining the University’s personal data protection policy.

The members of the Digital Transformation Committee are:
