The 15th International Conference “Qualitative and Quantitative Methods in Libraries 2023”, May 29 to June 3, 2023

The 15th International Conference “Qualitative and Quantitative Methods in Libraries 2023” is co-organized by the Hellenic Mediterranean University (HMU) and the International Society for Art, Science & Technology ISAST, from May 29 to June 3, 2023 at the University’s premises in Heraklion. The work of the conference will take place at the amphitheater of the School of Health Professions and at amphitheater F, building K45.

After the pandemic period, researchers, technical developers, managers and library professionals meet again in person to review achievements in the field of librarianship, seek answers to contemporary challenges and explore opportunities for collaboration and development of their international network. Representatives from 46 countries will participate in the conference: Australia, Bangladesh, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Ghana, Greece, India, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Kazakhstan, Lithuania , Malaysia, Mexico, Nigeria, Norway, DR China, Pakistan, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Africa, Spain, Sri Lanka, Sultanate of Oman, Sweden, Turkey, Uganda, United Kingdom and USA.

On Tuesday, May 30 at 09:00, the Rector of the Hellenic Mediterranean University Professor Nikos Katsarakis, the Vice-Rector for International Relations and Outreach, Associate Professor Konstantinos Petridis and the Director of Information Technology and Library Mr. Michalis Panagiotakis will address the delegates. During the conference there will be five plenary talks, ninety three papers will be presented and three workshops and ten posters/announcements will be held.
