Members of the Association of Owners of Secondary Education Schools of Heraklion “PLATON” had a meetingon Monday, May 8, 2023 with Hellenic Mediterranean University (HMU) administration in order to update their knowledge on the Undergraduate Studies Programs of HMU. The meeting was organized by the Liaison & Career Office at a point where interest is rising for the University Admission Exams.
The meeting topic was “Studies at HMU” took place in the Seminar Hall of the School of Management and Economics in Heraklion. During the workshops, a short presentation of the University was first made by the Rector Professor Nikolaos Katsarakis, while the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Student Affairs & Lifelong Learning, Professor Fotios Mavromatakis, the Deans of the Schools, the Chairs of the Departments contributed at an interesting discussion that followed.
During the meeting, Rector Nikolaos Katsarakis and Ms. Marianna Alogdianaki, Career Advisor of the University Liaison Office, informed the members of the “PLATON” Association about the updated Undergraduate and Postgraduate Programs and Research Programs at HMU, the connection with the labor market and businesses, the University’s internationalization actions, HMU’s awards at an international level, the Student Welfare, Culture and Sports services. A campus tour followed.
The participants expressed their satisfaction and praised the initiative, as they were given the opportunity to meet and interact with the academic community.
