12th International Conference on Contemporary Marketing Issues at HMU

The work of the 12th International Conference on Contemporary Marketing Issues, which takes place in Heraklion, Crete from July 10 to 12, 2024, began with a large participation. The conference is co-organized by the Department of Business Administration and Tourism of the Hellenic University Mediterranean University (HMU) and the University of Westminster of Great Britain, with the support / patronage of the Region of Crete.
The proceedings of the scientific conference are hosted at the HMU facilities on the Heraklion Campus. During the opening event, the Rector of HMU, Professor Nikolaos Katsarakis, as well as the members of the conference board, Christos Sarmaniotis, Professor Emeritus of the International University of Greece, Alexandros Apostolakis, HMU Professor, Markos Kourgiantakis, HMU Associate Professor and Luca Cacciolat, University of Westminster Lecturer, addressed the conference. The opening event concluded with the amazing presentation of the honored speaker of the conference, Professor Savvas Papagiannidis, from the University of Newcastle.

During the three days, over 75 scientific papers related to the wide field of marketing and management will be presented by research groups from 19 countries. The scientific articles in the conference represent the cutting edge of marketing and management research and practice. They cover a wide range of topics including digital marketing strategies, consumer behavior analysis, branding, sustainability, social media marketing, culture and tourism/hospitality.
