The Liaison and Career Office and the Department of Electronic Engineering of the Hellenic Mediterranean University (HMU) in collaboration with Google, organized on Thursday, May 25, 2023, a free webinar on the topic:
“Creating a CV and profile on LinkedIn”.
The purpose of the seminar was for the participants to get to know the international professional social networking website LinkedIn, to understand the ways in which they can project and promote their professional profile and professional goals through it, to learn what the structure and content are of a CV and find out how to highlight their strengths.
During the seminar questions were raised, such as:
What advantages do I have that others do not?
What do I do better than others?
What are my shortcomings in my educational background (academic and skills)?
What is happening around me, locally and nationally, that could be useful for my professional development and recognition?
What trends do I see repeating and how can I profit from them?
The above reflections and introspection helped the participants to better understand their advantages and disadvantages while at the same time they learned through this process to recognize and evaluate the opportunities as well as to overcome obstacles to achieve their goals.
The seminar was attended online by more than 170 students of the Hellenic Mediterranean University.
